Data Passthrough Flows Available In All Integrations
We are excited to announce that Data Passthrough flow types are now universally available across all Integrations within the Chain.io portal. Each Integration has been equipped with a Receive Passthrough Flow and a Send Passthrough Flow. This enhancement provides a streamlined method for customers to transmit or receive data directly to or from Chain.io, without any data transformation.
Why we made the change - Many of our customers requested this feature to simplify their workflows. After extensive consideration, we recognized that incorporating Passthrough Flows as a core functionality would significantly enhance both the efficiency of customer operations and the overall user experience within the Chain.io portal.
Upload Page Link
In this update, we’ve introduced the ability to directly access the Upload Page configuration from both the Integration Dashboard and the Integration Settings view. This is visually represented by an icon in the Flow list on the Integration Dashboard. By clicking the icon, users are immediately directed to the corresponding Upload Page. Additionally, within the Integration Settings screen, users can access the Upload Page via the Upload link in the Flow table.
Why we made the change - Previously, accessing the Upload Page required direct access to the Flow Configuration, which posed challenges for Integration-level users without that access. With the addition of Integration-level user invitations, it became necessary to simplify navigation, ensuring all users can easily reach the Upload Page, thereby improving operational efficiency.

- JSON Filters now available in Passthrough Flows
- Updates to JSON Filter warnings in the Flow Configuration
- Migrated all SFTP Source Connections/Host Systems to SFTP Jobs for more effective handling of Flows using SFTP as a source Connection or Host System
- Fixed JSON outputs that are used with Stedi filetypes
- Updated Open Connect schema for Visibility - Receive Shipment Update
- Fixed canonical link bug in Open Connect custom properties
- Updates to Open Connect error messages
